Brigade And Hyatt Plan Two Hotels
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced on 26 October 2026 that its affiliates signed management agreements with Brigade Group entities for two Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru. Together the hotels are planned for about 600 rooms. Hyatt Regency Bengaluru at Brigade Global Park is planned for about 350 rooms and about 25,000 sq ft of meetings space. Hyatt Regency Bengaluru on Whitefield-Kadugodi Road is planned for about 250 rooms and a ballroom of more than 10,000 sq ft. Both sit inside large mixed-use projects.
A management agreement means Brigade owns the hotels and Hyatt runs them for a fee under the Hyatt Regency brand. Global Park is a 25-acre advanced engineering and business campus. The Whitefield project is a premium mixed-use destination. Planned amenities include all-day dining, a specialty restaurant, a rooftop bar, a pool bar, fitness facilities and event space. The deal deepens an existing Hyatt and Brigade relationship. Opening dates were not given.
Our view is that Brigade gains two branded hotels that can sell to the office tenants in its own campuses, and Hyatt gains 600 pipeline rooms in India’s tech capital. Independent business hotels in Whitefield and along the Outer Ring Road will feel the pressure once the hotels open. Coverage has not pressed for opening years, which leaves buyers guessing. Mixed-use hotel builds in Bengaluru have often taken four to six years from signing to opening. We expect both hotels to open within six years, and Hyatt to sign at least one more Bengaluru deal within two years. Confidence: medium.
This is important for our readers because 600 Hyatt Regency rooms are now planned inside Brigade projects in Bengaluru. If you book corporate travel in Whitefield or Electronic City, ask Hyatt India when group rates will open. If you own a mid-scale hotel nearby, review your 2028 to 2030 supply assumptions this week. If you fit out hotels, contact Brigade’s hospitality team about the Global Park and Whitefield projects.
